Welcome! I’m so happy you are here for a visit. Relax and enjoy as I introduce you to some very exciting and modern technologies for today’s classroom relating to virtually any subject you can imagine. I will focus on how Web 2.0 is changing education. Specifically, I will cover Web 2.0 Blogs, Wikis, Podcasting, and Social Bookmarks for Educators. All of these Web 2.0 tools were designed to facilitate global collaboration for teachers and students in and out of the classroom.

ReplyDeleteI like this example of a Podcast because it demonstrates the actual Podcast technology and the topic is about Unified Communications in Education. The discussion speaks about students as multitaskers and that teachers should engage them in the classroom with various technologies. Cisco digital video solutions creates a portal into the classroom, which enables the teacher to easily show video content on history or any academic subject to enhance the curriculum by using the portal and a projector. It also points out that teacher collaboration is made easier with utilizing audio, Web, and video technologies.
