I will focus on how Web 2.0 is changing education. Specifically, I will cover Web 2.0 Blogs, Wikis, Podcasting, and Social Bookmarks for Educators. All of these Web 2.0 tools were designed to facilitate global collaboration for teachers and students in and out of the classroom.

For example, I can share ideas with other Cisco Academy Teacher who teach the same topics in a different location. I can use a Wiki to communicate with the Cisco Academy teacher in Annapolis about networking. Right now, we are using IM to communicate when we have ideas about networking for each other. Although, IM is useful, a wiki better for sharing resources and collaboration in the following ways:
Instead of using a Power Point Presentation, create a wiki as a presentation instead. In addition a wiki can contain resources for easy access with team members/co-workers.
